This week’s update to the list of countries we can visit from England without quarantining opened up a whole new world of possibilities for travel to warm and exotic destinations like Maldives, Mykonos and the Canary Islands. As expected, prices surged pretty much overnight so we’ve trawled the internet and picked out the cheapest flights to winter sun destinations for travel before the end of 2020.

Unfortunately, flights to the Maldives are £800-plus and there’s no Avios available on outbound flights before the end of the year.
We didn’t include anything over £100 return, even the cheapest prices we could find weren’t as low as our usual deals, but they’re the absolute lowest you can find from your local airport if you want some winter sun before the year’s out.
That said, we’ve managed to find flights from a wider range of airports across England than ever before including Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, and London Gatwick, Luton and Stansted.

Remember, EasyJet, Jet2, Ryanair and Wizz Air don’t include hold luggage in their lowest fares. But, if you’re clever with your packing, that shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
